My parents have told me things like “don’t wear that hood, I don’t want you getting shot” and “take that hat off, I don’t want was getting pulled over” neither of these were jokes, and I really didn’t understand why they said these things when they happened.
I’m not afraid, but seeing what has been happening the past two days has really helped me out their words into perspective, especially since I know that there are terrible and corrupt people out there.
I may not be Black myself, but being a minority, Brown-skinned person living in America and looking the way I do, I understand my parent’s concerns completely
I didn’t really feel like talking about what’s happening in Minneapolis but there really isn’t any harm in me doing so
What’s going on here is absolutely terrible and I honestly cannot ignore it. Please sign the petition if you haven’t, and please don’t be afraid to share your perspectives and thoughts.

What has Happened to George Floyd is a racist crime and should be treated as such, don’t let anyone else twist it. There is no behind the scenes or alternate perspective.
I really don’t have any thoughts on the on the riots it’s just a clusterfuck that gives me a bad feeling like a “beginning of something” type of deal. Idk whether it’s the beginning of something good or bad. Please stay safe everyone.
