DAUGHTERS OF THE WILD by @natalkaburian from @parkrowbooks @HQforLibraries The saturated blue of this cover! Also while looking for the cover designer's name I found at the author owns two bars and has a cocktail cookbook so my interest in this book has only increased
DEAR CHILD by Romy Hausmann from @flatironbooks @MacmillanLib I particularly love this cover because the designer colorfully riffs off other international covers of this book while making their own cover stand out with letter design, color & verve #LJDoD
THE PROPHETS by @SonofBaldwin from @PutnamBooks @librarylovefest Cover design by @vian_nguyen Shoutout to @SonofBaldwin for crediting Nguyen's work in his cover reveal. I love the color story on this cover in particular.
THE MIDNIGHT LIBRARY by @matthaig1 from @librarylovefest This is another redesign that I am in love with. Good people & ardent library supporters of @librarylovefest I would love to know the designer on this cover, please!

One last favorite cover from this year's #LJDoD: IWÍGARA: AMERICAN INDIAN ETHNOBOTANICAL TRADITIONS AND SCIENCE by Enrique Salmón from @workmanupdate This looks amazing, both in cover and content. Currently scheduled to come out 8/4/2020
5 hours later, my love letter to the book covers of #LJDoD is done. If you somehow miraculously made it to the end of this thread, thank you. If you work for a publisher, I will bake you cookies & engrave a plaque in your name if you make it easier to discover designers' names.
