Happy National #Premed Day! As so many students begin to submit applications, I just want to remind you - social media is a HIGHLIGHT reel.
You won’t find a picture of me sitting in my car crying after my second MCAT attempt.

There’s no honest tweet about the time I dropped elementary physics because I felt overwhelmed - there’s nothing documenting the downs.
I struggled through my application cycle and questioned so many of my accomplishments because everyone else made it look easy.

It was not easy for me - I constantly felt one step behind others during most of my premed journey. I’ve realized that normalizing the ups and downs help others navigate their own paths.

So if you’re premed (or pre-anything): struggling is normal. Submit that application - you can still make it where you want to go.
