felt like making a thread of my favorite fictional armors so i'm gonna do just that. inspired by a similar thread that @Strafe_Rebel started and has been adding to every now and then

the mjolnir mark v [b] helmet. looks great, especially with the up-armor attachment, and i'm glad that it seems to be returning in halo infinite

pretty much any version of the mjolnir mark v armor. it always looks so good, though i prefer the visor to not have any markings on it like it does in games like halo 3. but that doesn't matter much, it still looks great with the markings

odst armor. the second one from halo 3/odst/reach is the most famous version, but i love the halo 2 version too and i'm glad they coexist with one another in canon. the halo 4 one and the nightfall one are dope (nightfall especially) but nightfall is mainly for oni operatives

also just a quick note: the odst armor is my favorite in the entire halo series. it holds a special place in my heart, as do the troopers that wear the armor. the halo 3 version of the armor is my favorite, but all versions of it look absolutely incredible

in all seriousness though this armor is great and has a legendary status. it's stayed very consistent design-wise, even in the 343 games. i personally prefer the gen1 version from halo 3, odst, and reach though

another one that's been very consistent: the eod armor/helmet. i like both visor styles for it (the eye holes and the singular visor), but the reach version that's in reach and halo 5 is probably my favorite. this armor looks good in every game it has been in

the mark vi armor. i like the gen2 version used in halo 4 & 5, but the more classic gen1 look will always be better imo. the original gen1 version looked best in halo 3 (i like that game's version of the gauntlets better). but the BEST one for me overall is halo infinite's gen3

emile's hand-carved version of the eva [hul] helmet

the commando armor, love the bulky shoulder pads and all of the tactical attachments that can be used on the helmet. looked best in reach though

the scout armor. it's pretty similar to recon since in the halo universe they were developed to be the same helmet but then became their own separate things. i think all versions of it are good but my favorite is the reach one worn by jun

the mjolnir helljumper armor is very similar to the odst armor and it's commonly worn by spartan-IVs who used to be odsts, like buck, dutch, romeo, & mickey. i didn't include it with the other odst armors previously because it's kinda its own thing. it has a little less in common

the halo 3 rogue helmet was so cool. i really like the rounded shape of the helmet and the thin visor. i wish they'd bring it back already, it hasn't been in anything else since

alright, i'm gonna add more to this later, but i wanted to get a good start on this thread. it's gonna be really long and have a lot of stuff from halo, star wars, marvel, and maybe dc too
