how to stay safe from these fancams & dms

turn autoplay off
doing this will make sure if you see any videos on your timeline they will not play unless they are clicked
settings > accessibility > video autoplay > never

make sure message requests are ALWAYS enabled, or random people who follow you can DM you. just never click on them no matter what
settings > privacy and safety > direct messages > recieve message requests ON > never click them!

this isn't essential, but helps!
go private.
settings > privacy and safety > protect your tweets

try to avoid searching for :
addison , dixie, kpop, fancam, charli etc!
do not click on any videos which are not from close mutuals or people who you know
