Can i talk about something serious for a sec?

Onto what i wanna talk about.

Ok so in Avatar the last airbender s3 ep 3: The Painted Lady theres a character called Doc who also has 2 "brothers" but its all the same guy, he just switches hats.

At first, its just Doc and Shu, but then a third "brother" appears and calls Doc crazy, so the show seems to be saying that hes just that, crazy.

Recently, through a discord server im in, ive been learning about DID. Today i was binging ATLA and got to this episode. I was thinking, was his character a subtle representation of DID and im just now noticing?

Now, i could be completely wrong, as i dont have DID, nor know the full technicalities of it. The guy could just be crazy and im reading too much into it.

However, as i am not completely educated in it, i figured it couldnt hurt to bring the topic here, where potentially someone who knows more could help me clear this up.

Finally, i would like to apologize in advance in case i am just reading too much into it, or anything i stated here could be considered offensive. That was not at all my intent. If i misread anything, please tell me so that i can educate myself and never make that mistake again.
