I’ve got potentially the most cancelable idea ever but this #GeorgeFloyd situation got me thinking about our own issues in this country
Might delete later..
Can we get the whole country to #clapbeingblack and show institutions even though we’re not silent by any case, we’ll also continue to make noise about racism in our own justice, education and even sport system.
Same way we clapped for #thankyounhs and let the government and essential workers that the NHS is a valued part of the country. Clapping doesn’t get rid of any issues completely but it shows solitary and brings more awareness. Simple making noise or just showing up shows support
But how much of the country can we get to support anti-racism, our black neighbours, asian, white, latino. Everyone. Black people exist, we don’t deserve to be punished in any way for just living, we won’t talk about the last 400 years, that may take another 400 or so.
Organisation doing campaigns and all these other singular people standing up here and there hasn’t eradicated many of the issues we still face. Is it not time for us as a population to show we’re coming face on for justice and equality. Not just in America, but here and across
