Anyways I’m really trying to become a kinder, better person and I’ve come to this realization: compassion, altruism, and empathy are VITAL and are actively discouraged by social media and western society.
We all need to work to be more compassionate, altruistic people for the sake of the world. Here’s a good video that explains the case for altruism better than I can:

Idk how to end this thread except to say this: the road to becoming a better person begins with effort to understand other people and deinvesting in the idea that you are any more important than anyone else. We are all equally important and deserving of each other’s love. 💛💛💛
