here’s the thing. We don’t understand what the African American community goes through on the daily basis. We have privilege I’m not talking about money or things because y’all don’t have that privilege. I can tell by your trashy piercings. I’m talking privilege of our skin color

Just remember Desmond Tutu’s quote “if you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor.”

The color of our skin doesn’t add to our struggles or discrimination. Whereas the AAC are being attacked and murdered DAILY. Yet you all are mad that they are looting Target? Newsflash! the loss of a Joanna Gaines wreath at target does not compare to the loss of a human life!!!!

It’s tiring. It is defeating. I couldn’t imagine. I see the discrimination that I face as a gay male but it is NOTHING compared to the AAC because for some reason, a lot of you all have decided that one skin color is better than the other.

I try to acknowledge my privilege and I’m learning more daily and trying to educate myself on what I can do. Please, though, think about if the people in your community where being killed and there were daily reminders that no one else cares. Not even your government.
