A guide about TW//
[this is important, pls read it & spread]

➤ what is a tw ?

tw: trigger warning is a warning you put at the beginning of your tweets to show that your tweet or the pictures on your tweet can trigger some people and talk about sensitive subject.
➤ but why are they important ?

the people that can feel triggered by a certain subject ex: suicide, self-harm, pedophilia etc.. have these words muted so tweets related to these subjects do not appear on their timeline.
➤ how can i mute a word ?

you have to go on settings -> privacy and safety -> muted -> mutted words -> add a word and save it.

do not add all the words at once because it will only mute them if they all appear in the same tweet. mute each word individually
➤ how do i add a tw ?

in the beginning of your tweet add
tw// the subject (ex: tw// homophobia)

what are the subjects i can put a tw for ?

all the subjects you know someone can feel triggered about: homophobia pedophilia, blood, suicide, self harm, ED etc...
➤ can i censor the tw ? like tw// su*cide ?

NO. the purpose of the tw// is to NOT make a post that can be triggering for someone into their tl. by censoring the tw, twt doesnt mask the post for everyone mutting the subject.
