I real tired of hearing
“I can’t believe this” from white people. Like really... you can’t... where have you been

You can’t believe it because it’s not your reality. You can walk around freely without being worried someone will target you based on skin color. Black people will never be able to have that.

A black girl my age was killed by white man riding the train I used to take daily. I didn’t take the train by myself for almost a year because I was terrified it. It easily could have been me.

White people, especially white men will never know the fear of being scared to walk around by yourself simply because of your skin color. Black people are being murdered everyday by white people, by white POLICE OFFICERS. People who are supposed to “keep us safe”

How are we supposed to feel safe when the people who’s job it is, the people who you’re supposed to call when you don’t feel safe, are the ones who are killing us.
