Hot take but I genuinely dont think that homeschooling benefits anyone but the parents who want to have absolute control over the information their children are exposed to.
If you want to make sure your kids learn about religion? Cool! Enroll them in a religious school, take them to church, read religious text together etc. But dont take away their opportunity to be exposed to other types of people and information.
Asserting that your beliefs and ideas are the be-all end-all and restricting the information and interactions your children are exposed to is a borderline abuse of power.
