For me, this shows some things..

1. Growing in a "Christian home" can be the greatest obstacle and yet the biggest step to knowing God. It just depends on which side of the spectrum you choose to see it from.

Thread... https://twitter.com/Postsubman/status/1265744200156487682
Growing up in a Chrstain home does not substitute having a "personal relationship"
with The Godhead.

I'm not just talking about Jesus now, bit personally knowing The Father, The Son and the Spirit as first different personalities and yet as one Combined Being.
2. These doubts you read or think are natural. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Don't let anyone tell you you're bad or you're wrong for having them.

I see this as a trend in mostky the Young People and that is because we dare to think, we dare to ask questions..
Seriously, anyone who has read the Bible (with or without the guidance of the Holy Spirit) can clearly see some inconsistencies in the script.

Our generation asks questions, we don't just believe what they feed us anywhere, we want to find out what the truth is for ourselves..
Let me Admit this. I am a Crazy, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, History and even Mythology Buff.

I know the thoughts of thinkers of early Greece, people who thought even before Socrates. We're taking Heraclitus, Pythagoras, Aristemedes ,Xanophanes,
Epictetus, etc
I have dutifully studied Sociologists and Psychologists who led the thinking in their various fields; John Locke, Thomas Hobbes, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Sigmund Freud, B.F Skinner,Karl Marx, Max Veber and the likes.

I have dealt with Abti- Chrstain and Abti- religious thoughts.
Gnostics, Agnostics, Dualists, Pantheists, Atheists.. heck, I have written exams on Atheism, I have argued and debated in support of Atheism severally ( and I came up Top of my class in that regard, repeatedly.

Don't even get me started on Mythology,
No please 😂😂
I could tell you all about The mythologies of ancient forgotten civilizations; From Amon-Ra of Egypt, to the Etruscans, to The Sun gods of the Aztecs and the Celtics. I could even tell you their adoptions in symbols, images and names currently in the world today...i
I'm in no way trying to brag about what I know. That is not the purpose of this thread.

I'm simply saying that I understand where you come from when you day you do t believe in God,or you used to and then you had doubts and became the former.

I understand coz I have been there!
I have asked those questions. And I DO NOT believe you or anyone for that matter should be judged for having questions or doubts about God and the Bible.

I apologise if anyone has done it to you, they too simply don't know enough or have never been there.

I apologise.
I have always believed,

"God didn't give us a mind, a brain and our curiosity,if He didn't intend for us to use it"

At this, The "Anthropic Principle" of Physics in relation to the source of Universal existence stands true. (Google it Fam😂😂)

What would be the point,
.if we get so much intelligence and never used it to question things we can't empirically see? We would be insane to no do so. We wouldn't know half of what we know now as a race if we didn't do so.. we would still believe the Earth was flat and the center of the universe.
See let me gist you..here's what I think.

When you're a child you suck up everything your Folks tell you. You drink it up coz if they're anything like my folks, theyprobably beat it into you. But one way or another, you suck it all up.

But as you get older, you start to reason
You begin to question everything your parents told you (😂My mom once told me if I ever just touched a girl, belle straight, welp. We know how that must have turned out in SS1 or SS2 when you have a girl as a seat partner 😂😂 That was the Domino moment for me.)
Now, because your were brought up with Chrsitainity, it wasn't a personal thing, it was a "Family thing" like something you do as a family tradition. (Till today, my family still eats Tea & Bread every morning and if you go to my Father's house, you better get in line)
All through your Childhood, (that is, if you didn't get Brim again during that time,) Christianity wood feel more like a training than a part of you. Like any other training your parents gave you.

Now you're grown, old enough to think for yourself, probably moved out of pops'
You begin to review those trainings you received. Trying to see which ones to adopt and which ones you need to throw away.

Because with Chrsitainity came so many "unknowns" &"unknowables", you tend to want to lay it aside. The is the path that people like this dude takes
God wasn't personal, He as like a Family material, A Family deity and once you get out of that family's mental influence, those questions that probably were there all along show up again and this time would not be easily ignored

I know that feeling. I lived it
This lead me to my main point:

Without a PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with God,. without a personal Encounter and meeting with Jesus, without a personal Conviction by the Holy Spirit, you are going to tow the way of doubt and disbelief when it come to "Chrsitain matters"
When you wanted to learn to drive, you didn't it from a place of doubt or fear on how many car crashes you've seen, you learnt it because you wanted to know it and use that knowledge.

It is just like trying to understand God. There are 2 ways you could look at it
Believe me, I have sat there..I have opened my Bible and looked up these scriptures, asked these questions,

"Baba, you offed Achan and his whole family for stealing clothes. Haa!! And they say you never change..so I'm supposed to believe if I do wrong you won't off me?"
"you told them not to kill, but na you still tell Dem say make Dem off some other niggas, even burn this whole city seff. And even the Israelites gan, you off them like water..like vegetable. Now you don turn a God & peacher of Love? Baba how market na? Wetin dey sup?"
At this point of all my questions was when I really met Jesus. When God became real to me and I understand the Ministry of the Holy Spirit.

But I didn't approach my questions with a need to fuel my doubts, I approached them because I truly wanted to understand, I wanted to know.
Most people, especially on this bird app didn't want to know..they just want to argue and doubt ans find more reasons to doubt. So as soon as they gained mental freedom, They bursted, they didn't even want to hear anything anyone had to say
This is something I can prove. I can argue on behalf of Atheism and still be better at it than some "Atheists" themselves.

But this is why you should approach the God issue form a place of curiosity and desire to know, not for more proof of doubt and careless argument.
