Hear me out, perhaps the Minneapolis officer has not been terminated yet because doing so hastily will just open the door for him to go work somewhere else and continue victimizing others. I definitely think justice should be served for George Floyd, which is why the termination of the officer needs to follow protocol. So he can never hurt anyone else again.

Also I realize all the officers involved have been fired but the union is still going to represent them and attempt to fight that firing. Union reform should be priority #1 so it is easier to terminate bad cops without taxpayers being on the hook for backpay or pensions.
