Hello all! I have a favor to ask. This will be a thread outlining and requesting help for a project that I’ve been quite passionate about.
Essentially, I want to make a visual novel that helps educate people on mental illness, but to do this, I need a couple of key things.

This will be set in a school like setting where people are banded together because of their mental illness. I have 6 characters I want for sure, but may or may not add more. As of now, here are the 6 mental illnesses I want to cover:
Suicidal tendencies/thoughts (likely of Japanese descent since I have some knowledge there)
Abuse victim/PTSD (likely of British descent)
Autism Spectrum Disorder (likely of African American descent)
Depression and Anxiety (specifically makes related)

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (not sure on the details yet)
Schizophrenia (not 100% sure which kind, maybe I will have 2 different character with two different types)

So, what do I need for this? I need people’s experiences. If you wish to help me in this, please DM me or email me at talaliberte@yahoo.com to share your experience. If you don’t feel comfortable sharing, that’s OK! I want to make this a reality, but I also want it to be accurate
