People shouldn't describe politicians as 'clueless' & 'incompetent'. The leaders running the show are almost all sociopaths who have mastered mimicking emotions. They know exactly what they're doing. You don't make it that far by being stupid - they've been selected for a reason.

The govt shutting down the economy for months is not a 'mistake' or a sign of incompetence. They have directly targeted small businesses (big corporations are 'essential') and ordered millions of economically active people to stop working. This was a deliberate move.

For what reason? Time will tell. However we must stop playing down their criminal actions by calling them incompetent. The lockdown has caused thousands of excess deaths & wrecked the economy - they knew this would happen. If that makes sense to you and I, it makes sense to them.

Ultimately you should always watch what people do, not what they say. Talk is cheap. Politicians (i.e. sociopaths) use manipulative tactics and gaslight the public to change perceptions. Always look at their actions. It will reveal their true intent.
