I& #39;m going to be livetweeting @GovernorLittle& #39;s press conference on stage 3 of Idaho Rebounds for @uiargonaut today. Let me know if you have questions and I& #39;ll do my best to answer them.
@GovernorLittle has announced Idaho has met criteria to enter stage 3 of Idaho Rebounds. Here& #39;s a link to what that entails: https://rebound.idaho.gov/stages-of-reopening/">https://rebound.idaho.gov/stages-of...
"On Saturday, nearly all Idaho businesses will be able to open their doors," Little said. He has acknowledged the battle with COVID-19 is far from over, however.
Dr. Christine Hahn is presenting the metrics Idaho used to decide the state is ready to move to stage 3. Epidemiologic criteria, like the number of cases and amount of testing, is one metric. Another is syndromic criteria, which tracks how many people have COVID-like symptoms.
Healthcare capacity is another criteria the state used to decide if Idaho was ready to open, Hahn said. I will include details on each of these criteria in my full coverage later.
