Y: maybe we should opt for something more decentralized like federalism? Local governments will deal directly with local problems
state/province/local gvmt will work on its

2-own strategies for economic development. The strategies will be more effective because they are based on a closer understanding of local culture, resources and skills.
(Example: Think of Zahle & electricity)
Bonus: It lessens the bureaucracy!

Y: federalism enhances inclusion.. it provides community autonomy&requires active involvement by citizens->nourishing participatory democracy

It does the opposite
it allows unity without uniformity

And size doesnt matter, imagine if swiss said “we cant have federalism because the US is 200x bigger than switzerland”

It defends ur individual rights
It divides the power&protects u from tyranny
Oh&every warlord in Lebanon is against federalism
