- keep well hydrated. start a few days before
- write important phone # s (including a local legal aid) on your body in sharpie
- always let people know where you& #39;ll be & when
- google tear gas!! it& #39;s too complex for this thread but educate yourself & prepare
- COVER YOUR FACE

- bring a small backpack with:
water, light snacks, goggles, heat resistant gloves for throwing back hot tear gas canisters, a warm layer (jail is often COLD, put this on before you& #39;re arrested), a second face cover, any meds you may need for 24 hours, umbrella for pepper spray

- don& #39;t bring anything with you that you can& #39;t ditch if you have to
- if you& #39;re going with a buddy (highly recommended!) consider leaving your phone at home + having a meet up point. you can ask others what time it is
- if you know rubber bullets are likely, wear/bring a helmet

- don& #39;t give personal information to anyone you don& #39;t know/who isn& #39;t a publicly identified leader. plain clothes cops WILL be there
- if someone is agitating or making you uncomfortable, move away from them ASAP. cops plant agitators and also some people are just creeps
