Police cruisers being damaged as people here continue throwing shopping carts at vehicles

Just overheard an officer point out someone with a hammer. I am really afraid people will get hurt today. This has that ugly and chaotic energy.

Police have been showing restraint in the face of very antagonistic behavior from the crowd.

These police cars continue getting damaged. It’s the only barrier between police and this very angry crowd.

I’m at 30% battery. Will be here another hour before leaving. This is going to be a very long day and night.

I’m really afraid of what the rest of University Avenue looks like. The police are concentrated here at the Target and other businesses here have a bare bones police presence. I hope i parked far away enough to be able to exit safely
