The Men of Dracula: We read Mina's narrative about Lucy's death. We are educated on Vampires and Dracula.
Mina: *is pale, tired, with shallow breathe *
The Men: That's probably nothing. Let's keep leaving her alone.
Stephen Arrays has argued that Quincey Morris (the GOAT) is secretly alligned with Dracula b/c Stoked fears America's overtake of world power.

But honestly, I think all the guys in Dracula want an invasion to happen given how stupid they act the whole novel.
Probably so they have an excuse to continue crying and hugging each other.

Look, I'm a biological male who cries a lot and loves touching guys (with consent) but goddamn these guys cry and hug and praise each other every chapter.
The Men are hyper concerned about protecting each other, with Van Helsing given them knives, guns, cross necklaces, garlic necklaces, the Host, etc.

But Mina is just left..alone? Almost as if the men believe Dracula is more likely to attack/"attack" them
As if Dracula is more interested in or attacted to them, as if he desires them more than women.

Almost as if they desire men more than women and are projecting that onto the Count.
Sorry my Twitter has become a place to think through my comps readings.

I don't do anything more worthwhile on here and does anyone really care or read what I tweet? Unlikely.
