Over the last couple of months I started making landing pages for companies.

I’ve made over $1500 in my first month!🤯

Lemme explain the basics

(Thread)
1. Landing pages are the pages of a website where they try to sell you a product.

This can be the specific product page itself, or simply the front of their website where they try to get you to trust them.

Owners will pay thousands if you can write good pages that make sales.
2. I make all of my pages in Microsoft Word.

There’s so much more to Word than you probably already know.

I find it easier to edit images, upload images, organize text, and even format the whole of the page than google docs.

Personal preference though.
In the past I’ve been able to send the document to the company’s web master that then checks over my work and uploads it to the site.

If you can manage to become someone’s ‘web master’ that’s where the real money is.
You can negotiate a monthly retainer where you get paid $1000+ a month to manage their website.

You’ll get paid even more if you do their landing pages too!
3. It doesn’t take too long to make the pages.

I usually research the product first by finding out what the ingredients do and cases studies that back up those effects.

Finding royalty free images and snipping some pre-existing ones from the site is all you need to visualize.
Because most of the clients I’ve had are in the fitness industry, most of the pages I’ve made have been for supplements.

I think it’s easier because I have ingredients, studies, and testimonials to look at to try and sell the product.
4. Finding clients isn’t hard, but getting them to trust you is.

There’s so many companies with awful landing pages that, with a few tweaks, could be selling so much more.

Cold-emailing is what I’ve been doing after I find a website in need.
The trick is to give them an offer they can refuse.

Something where, if they said no, it would be stupid.

You have to convince them to give you a chance, so be different!
5. I’m still fairly early in my development but it pays well and isn’t hard to learn.

You just have to figure out what makes more conversions and load up on that in your pages.
