Many of us are feeling hopeless that we cannot do more or make the world safer. Some of us are tired of repeating ourselves when it comes to issues about racial injustices, violence, and fear that permeates through Black communities and other communities of color.
But instead of letting these hopeless feelings win, perhaps it's time to turn our attention inward and examine our own personal biases and relationship to race and cultural identity. I have put together a list of resources that may help others or provide a good place to start.
Some of these resources come directly from a few of my past college courses on Diversity in the Workplace and the Psychology of Racism.

No one starts out as an expert on these topics but through learning, we can help make our own personal communities safer for everyone.
Love reading books? My go-to recommendation is Why Are All the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria?: And Other Conversations About Race

This shareable guide also has a solid roadmap of books to read.
