As an ex-homosexual I can say that the LGBT movement ruined politics in the west.

A small thread.
1. LGBT movement created a system in which it was not only politically acceptable, but policy applicable to claim one's inherent nature is necessary upon which to build policy as opposed to one's inherent goals/desires.
2. What does this mean? It means that we went from "right to pursue happiness" to "right to indulge fantasies", which in and of itself was not inherently evil, however, it has indeed led to a dangerous slippery slope.
3. Society demands that we all act according to a higher standard to operate cohesively. When we said "being gay is not a choice so change policy for us." We were saying "my inherent desires deserve a place in policy" and "naturalness =correctness"
4. This is not to say homosexuality is evil, though my religious opinion is that it is sin, that is not the topic of this thread. LGBT lobbies pushed for years the "what is natural has to be good" agenda, conveniently forgetting that being human is revoking of naturalness
5. Why is this important? The door has been opened. LGBT lobbies have convinced an entire 2-3 generations of Western society that naturalness is correctness, but redefined naturalness as "your base impulses are good and should be allowed no matter what"
