Thread: When Trump announced an Executive Order on Twitter's alleged bias issues there was a general aura of ecstasy among his supporters. There was a general feeling of "Yes! Our King is going to use his power to crush our enemies!". They love this idea.

They love the idea of an all powerful leader that's on their side. They love the idea of using the government to punish political enemies. They believe government is bad when it investigates Trump or when it imposes quarantines but it should absolutely punish "libs".

Trump supporters claim to support small government but really want to use government in a populist manner to go after anything they don't like. They claim to be capitalists but really want government regulation when free markets don't work how they want.

They claim to be "constitutional conservatives" but don't understand the limits the Constitution puts on the Executive Branch. They also don't realize the Constitution doesn't protect them from a company blocking them.
