Oh! That is so cool. Did you know that Divinity: Original Sin 2 actually has an orchestral version of a Kirill Pokrovsky song on it, even though I believe he died in 2015?

It's so cool that his work is still making it onto Larian OSTs. https://open.spotify.com/track/267XktUcLUuvozWRK5TmT3?si=G4q8254CTmyjLQZqlAp9eA
I don't know how much of it was Borislav reworking a Kirill piece VS a full-on classic Kirill, but it's neat to see regardless.

Kirill Pokrovsky is why all the earlier Larian games had such a unique sound in games.

My fav is probably still Broken Valley:
Anyways, Borislav (and I assume his team) are doing great work on the current games too. Larian still has a Sound.

I think Amber Ale is my favorite from the new Divinity OS 2 songs. It's just so like, happy and adventurous? I mean listen to it. :3 https://open.spotify.com/track/67GJTtb5JKSyesuMDyz3JN?si=BwTq7AXBTCW2ljNbnnn9Gw
But I also really dig Quirky Bones: https://open.spotify.com/track/5Q6vVrow0KRVfS38uGW1Wl?si=ji44ivjjRBOO9jle3p9K2w

There's this area in Act 2 where there's a big bar with a hidden dungeon underneath, and I think the two themes are Amber Ale / Quirky Bones, and walking between the two created such a fun contrast.
I may have the tracks for those two wrong though, because the bar theme had whistling in it in-game, and I can't find that in here. So either the game version is different from the OST version (boo! give us the whistle cut! it rocked!), or more likely, I'm linking the wrong song.
WAIT I FOUND IT.

The bar doesn't play Amber Ale (though I think others do).

The bar track is The Queen's High Seas - Tavern Verison. THIS is the adventurous bar theme. THE WHISTLING. YES. https://open.spotify.com/track/6tZ02IpBeQ54HWijXI59p9?si=B6FaO9lDQjGwhVVfT6clPA
I'm sort of regretting ignoring Lohse now, because apparently she has her own entire vocal track. Really curious where THIS plays in the game.

It's just, both female heros had Abused/Controlled By Dudes backstories, and Lohse's was ongoing, and... nah. https://open.spotify.com/track/6mvTVLdtCZfofsnhEVNuio?si=GUKK4453RqWrjkeZy0E0Bg
Anyways this thread is now about how The Red Prince was an entitled piece of shit with the most punchable face in the game so far, and frankly I'm very glad he apparently died on that boat when I rolled him for all his gear and left his naked ass unpartied and unloved.
