If I were a marketer looking for a new gig, here& #39;s what I& #39;d do.
First realize that a marketer is someone who markets. Time to show them what you can do.

1/ Clean up your LinkedIn profile, pimp it. Make it sell, show your copywriting chops.
If you haven& #39;t done it yet, start posting daily - summing up your key lessons learned, knowledge you can share. Pin those posts on your profile.

2/ Build a landing page. Show & #39;em how it& #39;s done.
Write copy, produce video. If you wanna get a job at ecommerce, design it like an ecommerce product page. If it& #39;s SaaS you& #39;re after, make it a SaaS features page.

3/ Put up a portfolio of your key accomplishments. Explain the scope, goals, resources, problems, map out how you overcame the obstacles, what you fucked up, and eventually triumphed.
4/ Get some testimonials. Video testimonials from all your past managers, direct reports and peers. If you can source videos from those people, shows you can build relationships and make shit happen.
Extra points if you also list areas of improvement, not just praise.

5/ Start producing teardowns / strategy de-construction type of content, whatever your field is. Demonstrate your expertise. Maybe it& #39;s heuristic analysis for CRO, maybe it& #39;s dissecting their brand and positioning.
Yes it& #39;s a lot of work, but you& #39;re unemployed!

6/ Start sourcing intros to get interviews. Show you can use your network to open doors. This is proof you can build relationships, and people trust you.
