I gather the idea Bell was trying to get across was the Liberal house leader was provided with draft copies of their bills for consultation. Liberals had said they needed time to review. Here's the thing tho (THREAD): I've asked for correspondence that really matters between the House leaders, including details on negotiations related to past capital and operating budgets. Minutes, proposals from each party, final agreement. No party has provided these... #peipoli

There are real issues of transparency. If the three parties are negotiating, behind closed doors, for budgeted items, there is likely a record of these negotiations. Which items can be credited to which party? #peipoli

Unfortunately, the House leaders (Lib, Green, Tory) have declined to release these publicly. However, when there are squabbles in the legislature about who-was-informed-when, it seems it's fair game to release these internal correspondence documents. Pretty selective. #peipoli
