***HELP/thread***.
My cat came home dragging his legs and lower body after being hit and run over by a car. No one helped my 8 months old cat. Broken pelvis, shattered bones. He fought his way home, I have to fight for him.

Students cannot claim benefits.
Students cannot claim universal credit.
Under Covid, I lost my job and spent all my savings on rent and bills.
Despite this, I cannot apply for benefits.
I am paying every night £100-200 for my cat at @PDSA_HQ this is my overdraft.

I& #39;m calling all charities to please have some amnesty with students or include them in benefits. It& #39;s tough times. We already live in a world with money over people, money over animals, money over life. The costs are in the thousands.
I& #39;m sick of us on lower income having to watch our animals die or taken away from us because we have no money. What poor people can& #39;t have pets? I literally took this cat in because no one wanted him. I don& #39;t want to put him down. I can& #39;t put him down.
I am asking for flexibility, students are suffering under Covid, cannot apply for any form of benefits. This is a wider issue. @nusuk
If anyone has any advice, support, anything, I can try put more of my savings together to pay a waved fee, but I don& #39;t want to accumulate more debt for my cat to live. I& #39;m shedding light on the wider issues, but also asking for help on an individual basis.
I& #39;m sick of people not treating animals with care, who hits animals and runs off without helping. Heartbreaking. I& #39;m devastated. During covid my baby Amal Jr (my cat) kept me sane through uni deadlines, loved to go on walks with me like dogs do. A rare cat.
