This might help people out so
GUYS HERE IS A THREAD ON HOW TO AVOID BEING DOXXED

Doxxing doesn't just involve people knowing personal info about you. They could send police/swat to your house, share and spread personal info with people, pretend to be you, and dozens of other scary things. Doxxing isn't just about finding your real name, its finding YOU.
There are many different ways to at least minimize the risk of being doxxed on June 1st (and honestly in general) but its good to know HOW people can get your info first.
People can hack into almost anything nowadays. Any little personal info you post online can be found, pieced together, and worked with eventually. Try to minimize this and maybe even delete old posts you think might post these. Having links to other social medias gives them more
to look into, so be careful there. Take links out of bios. Remove your carrds if you can for the time being, or alter it so it doesn't show anything personal beyond interests if you must keep it. Save it for when times of crisis are less... crisis-y.
Try to look up your full name on Google. What comes up? Images of you? Profiles that show your location? You CAN get these removed or altered to avoid doxxing yourself further. See where the links/images lead to and delete them / change them. Google will remove these in due time.
Change those passwords if needed!! Remember that your login includes YOUR email and/or phone number, and a private password. Maybe its a good idea to make up a thicker password for the time being, to avoid being hacked into. Write it down somewhere very safe and don't share it.
Enabling 2-factor authentication allows for sites to REALLY make sure its you. Do this for any sites that might store personal info about you, it only adds a couple seconds to your login process but will likely keep hackers away. Remember you want to make it harder for them to
get anything viable out of you. Don't click weird links they message you, turn off messages from strangers or just delete the ones you don't recognize.
Private your profile if you must! There is little to no way they can directly access your tweets if privated, and makes the job harder on them there. Follow the people you trust the most, and go private for a while if you don't want to delete too many risky tweets.
And the last that I can think of, get a VPN! This one usually costs money, but if you want to rely on potential free trials for our first week of June, it might still do the job. VPNs will protect your info from outsiders and third parties, and keeps you safer than before.
This thread is only really viable for those who actually fear for what might happen on June 1st but I guarantee you it could help. Block the creepy people, DONT argue with them. Report the harassers and stick close to your trusted friends.
Btw even if this whole June 1 thing isn't real, this info here is still helpful if you think you are at risk. Remember doxxing isn't just about finding things about you, its about sending threats straight to your door (and let's be honest, none of us want cops at this time...)
