I'm going to piss some people off. I'm probably going to lose followers.

I really don't care...
I don't need to be lectured about what it means to be an American. Especially not by some jackboots defending systemic racism and murder by men who are supposed to be authority figures in our communities.
Don't attempt to preach to me about it be un-American for initially peaceful protestors to eventually resort to violence when confronted with violence.

Go google "Boston Massacre" and it's aftermath you ignorant dimwits and then tell me about obeying authority.
My ancestors quite literally founded this nation, put their names on official documents naming themselves as traitors to their sovereign.
My ancestors rioted at damn near every opportunity for a quarter century in Boston and New York. They burned and tore down businesses and homes of those who oppressed them. They tarred and feathered their accomplices.

Today we call them Patriots.
The men we revere most ardently as patriots in history books in America didn't protest peacefully. They dressed as Natives, stole tea, dumped it in a harbor.

They didn't just burn down an Autozone, they burned entire neighborhoods.
They didn't sit down in the street and let uniforms gas them while holding peace signs up.

They snatched people out their homes, dragged them through the streets, poured tar over their entire bodies, dumped feathers on them, and then hoisted them up on poles in middle of town.
Don't tell me standing up to systemic oppression, even if it resorts to violence, is un-American. Quite frankly there's nothing MORE American than facing down those who are oppressing you by any means.

That's damn sure what Sam Adams and John Hancock did.
