0) I feel like it would almost be rude if I didn't.....

Here's an impromptu {THREAD} on what I've learnt from following the Bundesliga return, watching 10+ matches, playing Bundesliga fantasy and how it could relate to FPL's (hopeful) return:
1) There was very little correlation between the teams that prepared the longest and the teams that prepared the shortest for their opening day performances.

RP Leipzig and Augsberg trained for 3-4 weeks before the start, whereas Mainz only had 1 week.
2) Their opening results:

RP Leipzig: Disappointing home draw to relegation fodder
Augsberg: Home loss
Mainz: A very credible away draw to Koln.

EPL teams should all be on the same preparation timeline, but if they are not, then I don't think we need to worry too much.
3) While I believe the defending is of a higher quality in the EPL than the Bundesliga, to me it's certainly looked like there has been a lack of sharpness and cohesiveness for many team's defences including the top teams.

15 CS from 54 possible.

Cheap defenders the way to go?
4) With 5 substitutes & games coming think and fast, I'd be making sure I have playing bench fodder.

In the 3 weeks I've been playing #FBL, I've seen surprise benchings, rotation aplenty & plenty of injuries.

Note: Wing-backs have been particularly prone to rotation, be aware!
5) There's already been 6 red cards in the 3GWs.

In the 4GWs before the break, there was just 2.

Could a lack of sharpness/tiredness be causing additional poor challenges?

Perhaps avoid the card merchants. I'm looking at you Holebas.
6) Finally, most people have seen this stat already by now, but there has been only 5 home wins in the 27 games so far.

Home advantage has practically disappeared, along with the fans.
