There's no question about it. PartisanGirl is right-wing - very right-wing. Her Syria commentary seems to lead to an idea that Assad's war is actually a crusade against islamists and that the USA should help him or stay out. MAGA islamophobes love that. David Duke does too.

PartisanGirl is actually an Australian who lives with her cat somewhere in Perth's endless and boring suburbia. That doesn't stop her to pepper her Syria commentary with regular contributions to USA politics and elections.

Knowing how right-wing and arguably anti-Semitic PartisanGirl is - it is fair to ask why the members of the Working Group on Syria, Propaganda and Media who claim to be politically left - such as Tim Hayward or Carmen Renieri - would regularly support and re-tweet PartisanGirl.

Like many prominent social media personalities of the right - PartisanGirl was (is?) a Trump supporter.
It is amusing to see the verbal and conceptual contortions she has to go through to explain Trump's ongoing attacks on Syria. Luckily she can always blame a deep state.

Russia loves PartisanGirl not only because her Syria commentary suits but, as RT writes, she's "Anti-Western" - which seems Russian code for dyed in the wool right-wing and prepared to push any conspiracy theory that suits Moscow's ongoing campaign to split Western societies.

So it is no surprise that PartisanGirl was early off the mark with her covid conspiracy theories.
Russia is currently taking covid serious (with Putin in a hazmat suit) but in order to split the West, the conspiracy tweets are still being bot(?) amplified.

She's claiming Higgins can't "investigate" - so should we have a look at how good PartisanGirl is at "investigating" in Syria?

PartisanGirl's "research" in Syria uses old photos which were already used by various parties in the Syrian war to make bold claims against their respective enemies.

When Russian and right-wing bots amplify everything you write, you no longer have to worry about facts?

PartisanGirl is an excellent example how fake news are being spread.
Her unsubstantiated claims are being picked up by other Syria experts - such as sacked lecturer Tim Anderson. Nobody seems to remember that only a year ago the same photos were used widely.
Is that "research"?
