hi if you’re white and are upset by “every white person is racist” and you think “we’ll not ME couldn’t be MEEEE!!!!” it’s u. IRL issue is: obv not all but most. this isn’t about u. i’m tired of seeing white people who should be allies during this time make it about them, shut up
further explanation: the question of whether or not you personally are racist shouldn’t be up for debate. if the saying makes you uncomfortable then you are insecure in your beliefs and are racist. if you can’t be secure in acknowledging your skin being white & also acknowledging
that ZERO of the hardships you have faced in life are because of your skin colour then you are racist. but NOW IS NOT THE TIME TO MAKE IT ABOUT YOU! black folx are being murdered, it’s not up for debate whether or not you as a white person think all white people are racist
if it personally matters to you then that is completely something you need to figure out and FIX. either way, now is the time to be an effective ally.
