i would remind fellow non-black folks: retweets are not meant to replace community activism against anti-black racism. don't let that feel like Enough. rooting it out in our families, learning deescalation, supporting black-led outreach—these are concrete ways to begin change.

it's seductive to think you can just click a button while in bed and get things done, but you can't. undoing centuries of damage takes lifetimes. the real work is never easy, never flashy, but it's what needs doing. every day.

the resources are out there. the people are out there, already doing the work. don't let this rest on the shoulders of the black community when this is our problem to fix.
