Good morning from the George Floyd memorial at the corner of 38th and Chicago.
Greta McLain and other artists from the Powderhorn neighborhood are working on a new mural, celebrating George Floyd.
“This heals my heart. This looks just like him,” said Diva Reynolds whose 9-year-old daughter saw George Floyd crying for help with a policeman’s knee on his neck.
No fires, store windows intact in the neighborhood.
Free masks if you need one. There’s still a pandemic on.
