Just shattered and disheartened by absolutely all of our displays of humanity. This white fucking race, of which I'm clearly a part, and further, all of the entiled ignorant need to stop: 1) hiding from self-judgment and 2) offering piddling equivocation to justify heinous acts.
What a morally bankrupt shitshow. Not to mention our leaders who REFUSE TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE DANGERS AND MISCARRIAGE OF JUSTICE.
If you want protests to stop, arrest those fucking murderers. If you REALLY want this violent horror show to stop, MAKE YOURSELF MORE AWARE AND LESS RACIST. HOLD PEOPLE ACCOUNTABLE. It's a process and 100% possible and necessary.
If you want corona virus to stop controlling our lives, think of other people, be responsible. Don't gather in parks like lemmings, you spoiled fucking children. And hold your moron leaders accountable for looking THE OTHER FUCKING WAY.
If you think this is self righteous pandering from a Canadian on a high horse, we're so far from being better than anyone. A black woman died at the hands of police in my old neighbourhood yesterday. Colonizers continue to destroy indigenous land and heritage. Among other things.
In any case this is impotent shouting into the void. I gotta do better. So does everyone who looks like me. I'm just tired and sad. I can try to imagine how the victims feel, but I know that it's not 1/1,000,000th worth of their suffering.
