People should protest, but people shouldn’t loot. Let’s not give those looking to minimize our pain an out. Use our anger constructively and not destructively. God knows I understand the anger, but let’s be strategic in how we actualize it.
I believe those who are looting represent a small percent of individuals seeking to take advantage of moments of despair.

To the media: Those bad actors must not trump the attention and coverage given to the majority who are peaceful.
The pain & anger felt by many deserves an opportunity to be heard. Yet, the media may spend more time focusing on the looters than the majority who aren& #39;t. I’m not saying it should be ignored, but to only focus on that is an injustice to a real underlying problem.
In closing, I say be angry, be outraged, protest, but it can happen w/out looting & while we protest, let& #39;s come together 2 figure out a multifaceted way 2 put pressure on the entire system 2 create sustained change tht lives up 2 the ideals of a society truly free of inequities.
I believe we have the capabilities to do this because we& #39;ve done it before, but we must be strategic in order for this to happen.
