If you have more of a problem with the rioters than the way #GeorgeFloyd was murdered, you are apart of the problem. If you have more of a problem with how Amy Cooper treated her dog than Christian Cooper, you are apart of the problem.

If you are an Adult and claim to not see color, you are apart of the problem. If you remain silent during times like these, you are apart of the problem. If you don’t hold friends/ family accountable for their racial bias, you are apart of the problem.

If you think these numerous instances of black individuals being shot/ choked/ pinned downed to their unjustifiable death could of been avoided by them “just listening to the police” you are apart of the problem.

If you claim All Lives Matter, but are conveniently quiet about the lives lost due to an abuse of police officer power, You are apart of the problem.

If you look at the US and think “This isnt America, this isnt who we are” You are apart of the problem. The US has always been like this. You may have been shielded from the harsh reality due to a variety of seasons but thank God for social media highlighting mass disparities

If you think slavery was so long ago and people should get over it you are apart of the problem. Do y’all realize that all of the senior citizens in this country lived during the Jim Crow era?? My paternal grandmother graduated from a segregated black HS

If you think these past laws infringing upon communities of color are “things of the past” and have no impact on our current conditions you are apart of the problem. Thank you for coming to my TedTalk
