My heart is breaking for George Floyd but I don’t entirely know how to get involved and help him get justice and use the privilege I know I have simply because of the color of my skin. I don’t believe that the only good cop is a dead one but the system needs major reforms (1/?)

so things like this cannot happen anymore. There need to be changes, they cannot keep killing poc and pretending it’s for any other reason besides racism. When Trump supporters stormed state buildings while open carrying they were not even arrested (2/?)

and yet Minneapolis is a warzone. Tear gas and riot gear because people want the unjustified deaths of poc to stop. It’s sick. Racist, corrupt people should not be able to use deadly force with no repercussions. America will never be the land of the free while (3/?)

things like this are allowed to happen and there is no change. America isn’t free until Poc can write a check, run alone, or carry a pack of skittles without being shot or killed.
