Yesterday morning I had my last cigarette, after 22 years, that’s a scary long time to be smoking.

I sit here this morning on my porch with my coffee where I usually light up my first of the day.

The temptation is hard but knowing I will make it thru day day 2 keeps me strong

After my coffee, I come back in through the kitchen. Because of my family, usually I run straight for the sink to wash my hands vigorously as I am very conscious I smell like a stinky ashtray.

We all have our routines. For me, next is the mouthwash.

I plan to keep this thread going and write a little everyday to share my journey.
