Bloordale Beach was only open for about 12 hours before it got shut down. It was only open Mon 8pm to Tuesday 8am! But I heard there were efforts to reopen the beach last night and it should be available for beach-going once again.

Not a bad day for the beach! When guy closed the beach Tues, he flipped the original beach sign and wrote Walmart Path bc TDSB actually cut out a chunk of Bloordale Meadow’s fence on the Beer Store side, so you can also cut across the Meadow from 3 Speed Alley to Duff Mall.

Very exciting: At one point tonight there were FIVE people at Bloordale Beach, all at once! Group of two, group of two, and group of one! Record-breaking attendance!
