One of the teenagers I volunteer to teach her school just got a new mom. Her mom had died 3 years ago and she never actually recovered. She kept interrupting the classes on the whatsapp group to talk about a new thing her mom taught him and I just let her lol.

"my new mom explained the difference between compounds and mixtures like this..." "My new mom gave me that book to read already"
And when I privately sent her a message she'd say something and go "my new mom says...". Its a refrain I didn't know would fill me with such joy.

There is no moral to this story lol. This thread is just to shout at at new mom's everywhere. And expecially this new mom that brings such intense joy.

I hope people come to you that fill you with such sweetness.
