I'm just going to tweet about some of the #PS4 PS4 games that have been getting me through this weird isolation / work from home time. First up... Prey

This is a 2017 game from developers Arkane Studios - the makers of Dishonored 1 & 2.

There will probably be some spoilers in this thread and I'll build on it over time. I got both Prey and Dishonored 2 from the PS Store in a bundle for about $18... crazy good deal!

I played Dishonored 2 first, but I finished Prey more recently. A bit of context about the game:

Yeah, it is a lot like Bioshock (and I've seen it referred to as a System Shock tribute, though I haven't played that). Left trigger powers, right trigger gun.

The story has some twists and mystery. It puts you in situations where intense, timed choices have to be made.

The ambiguous nature of these choices is really challenging. Sometimes it's rescuing a person who may not deserve it. The outcome of these choices is never obvious.

The mystery unfolding on the station is a little less satisfying. The drama between the main character Morgan...

and his/her brother Alex seems underdeveloped for the important role it plays in the game.

If you've played Bioshock, you know what to expect in the gameplay. You'll encounter aliens in large and small rooms. You can sneak around them or barge right in and start shooting.
