Can I be honest?

Anti-racism and activism work are so important and one of my greatest passions in life. It's also mentally and emotionally exhausting and deeply traumatic. I've been vocally supportive of BLM since I was 17 years old, and I can't believe it's been six years
with so little change. I know I'm speaking with privilege as a nonblack POC when I say that, and I know the trauma and exhaustion is so much worse for black people. But fuck, I want change. I've wanted change since Trayvon was murdered. I'm /tired/ of seeing black people killed,
and I'm tired of seeing videos trending of their murder, because "proof" is the only way to get white people to notice and care, because that's the only way to actually get cops fired and held accountable.

There's not a point to this thread. I'm just really, really tired.
