what's the trusted way to do KMS these days?
i have a w7 box (i know, i know...) that appears to have lost it's KMS.... so i'll need to put something back on it for now.

i did some cursory googling, it took me to some reddit megathreads which are just collections of links that link to more links and i haven't got a clue what half these bloody tools do... i'm not sure i want to run them....

found some linux KMS server - might spin that up on a virtual machine, spin up a test client and see if it's any good....
