There is a reason why Chapekar brothers are mentioned. It is not that before this Brits were not assassinated by Indians

But no one treated Brits with contempt/disgust as this section of MH-Brahmins did. Brits of this age weren’t used to such contempt of Hindu towards Mlechha. https://twitter.com/kal_chiron/status/1265847330743349248
English Historian Vincent Smith mentions this “brahminical disgust” towards mlechha when he describes how Guptas finished Scythian/Kushans/Huns etc from India.

This phrase jumps out from his narrative. Perhaps mark of some wound he got from a Brahmin 😀

Mind you - this is same age when another section of Brahmins were licking British arse as deeply as their tongue can. Shared example of this few days ago. 👇🏼👇🏼

In such scenario, a weak Brahmin treating you as a mlenchha must have been hurting to these fellows.

They (and their desi propagandists) make sure to highlight this point time and again.
1897, the plague epidemic and Indian epidemic act (which is enforced today in this ongoing #ChineseVirus crisis) and opposition it generated then resulting in death of Rand : is precisely rooted in this.
So at this stage (June 1906) Savarkar hadn’t done much except his work in burning British clothes. But that is not as important as speeches he gave prior to burning them and effect it had on these same people.
It is that effect (which is touching hearts of many Chapekar like young boys) is what is being warned here in this telegram.
British try to pass it off using invented meaningless words like “brahminical”.

But almost all Hindu people belonging to what we today call Open and OBC category had this feeling of contempt towards Turks (synonym with Muslim) in medieval India well until 1990s perhaps.
This contempt is so openly visible when we check correspondence of Hindavi swarajya

Shivaji ridicules his step-brother (who was revolting against him in Thanjavur) in a letter for dreaming to win against him by employing Turks in his army!

I wonder where we lost this footing
The precise words are somewhat to this effect : “I kill Turks. And you hope/dream to win against me by employing Turks? How can you even think of winning against me if you employ Turks in your army?”

Said Shivaji Maharaj to his brother Ekoji.
This same feeling is what motivated Chapekar bros to assassinate Rand. For daring to desecrate their women, kitchen and family gods in name of fighting against plague. And a mlechha daring to oppress “us”

I am not discussing right/wrong of this behaviour during an epidemic here
It is of course not right to oppose enforcement of Epidemic act provisions in such times. But it doesn’t matter if we consider the enforcer of this law as “our own”

This is why Hindus are more or less cooperating in this lockdown while peacefuls are more or less non-cooperative
