If you're australian and youre feeling a little removed from what going on in the US, I encourage you to look up the amount of times an indigenous person has been murdered by police for literally no other reason than the fact that they exist

Also let's not forget the sheer amount of people locked up in detention centres who have met their end through brutal violence and deliberate negligence, ALL at the hands of the Australian government and their hired security and law enforcement
