this is alex chow tsz-lok. he joined a protest in hong kong on 8/11/9, and died after falling from 2/F of a carpark. it is widely speculated that he jumped to escape police. police refused to let ambulances near the scene for 30 MINUTES. say his name. #standwithhk #whywesayACAB

CCTV footage from the carpark was released, but they were rotating, so it is unclear what exactly happened. it is believed that not the complete footage was released.

following his death, there were several memorials, which were interrupted by police, dispersing people mourning with tear gas, and memorial shrines set up for him were destroyed by police.

in october 2019, a protestor was shot point blank in the chest. he was 18 years old, and still a high school student. fortunately he survived. police downplayed the incident by saying he had a weapon and was only shot in the shoulder, which is untrue. #standwithhk #whywesayACAB

on 11/11/19, a protestor was shot in the stomach. he was not holding a weapon, and was merely trying to help a fellow protestor, who had been grabbed by the police for no apparent reason. all they did was walk near the cop, yet they accused him of trying to take his gun.

on may 7, police used "appropriate force" to subdue a man. they struck him with a baton, kneeled on his neck, until he was unconscious (somehow didn't think to handcuff him). he died shortly after.

this should be unrelated to protests, but he died of cardiac arrest. he was arrested for possible drug possession, but drug tests came back negative.

somehow, police still continue to hold down protestors this way, even after lives have been lost. the photo on the left is george floyd, the right is a hong kong protestor recently. #whywesayacab #standwithhk #blacklivesmatter

forgot to mention- pretty sure none of these murderers or shooters faced any consequences, other than death threats from enraged citizens, which clearly didnt mean anything.
