3. It& #39;s strange that careers of officers are at the mercy of the their wife& #39;s participation. 2/13

Coming on to the serious issues wrongly nurtured by our AF, taking it as Ethos and "family" matter.
Who allowed wife to wear husband& #39;s rank?
How come ladies defined their seniority?
Why force own idea on others?
How qualified r these "counsellors" to sort out marital discord 3/13

Is the senior most lady charged for her luxuries or is it on the house?
If all ladies are equal then how can there be first amongst ladies?
How much of effort of soldiers/officers goes into organising such events?
Is the curriculum taught by these orgs still relevant?4/13

Hasn& #39;t our society undergone change to be still doing things like सिलाई कढ़ाई और डांस. These days soldier& #39;s wife are well educated.
Isn& #39;t this organisation kept relevent so that lady can use govt resources without audit objections or get an opportunity to boss around? 5/13

This thread may offend many sr officers may be because they were party to this or felt helpless that they couldn& #39;t stop this. If I am wrong in this then I apologize but this is based on my observations and interaction with my legal fraternity(I don& #39;t practice in this field) 6/13

Most of us are aware that a sr lady made a painting and an officers& #39; mess bought that at a whopping price. Never heard of the lady as a great painter. May be some right person got pleased with this.

If she so felt the cause it cd have been donated or sold at reasonable cost7/13

Coming on to a serious issues which is wrongly dealt by this organisation.( As per my understanding)

"MARITAL DISCORD"

Indian legal system has provisions for almost everything but these organisations to stay relevant take decision which are usually bad in law. 8/13

I happen to know about people who misused the sys knowing well that only person who can be pressurised is their spouse because he is subject to army/AF/navy act and not the lady.

For eg sec 125 provides for maintenance cases but our AF grant it generally to the lady without going into much details based on just one SCN.
This rather than solving the problem compounds it. 10/13

Since few of my colleagues deals in these matters so it was observed that in most cases lady didn& #39;t wanted to approach the courts knowing the effort involved, amount she may finally get (which would be less compared to what is granted by AF) and fear of evidence against her11/13

This may sound like MCP to some but most of them have high ego (sometimes labelled as self respect to sound better) but still insist for a handsome amount.12/13
